Atlanta, GA, October 6, 2026 —
Georgia gubernatorial candidates Keisha Lance Bottoms and Rick Jackson are scheduled to participate in a televised town hall debate. The event is being hosted by Atlanta News First in collaboration with Gray Media.
The debate is set to take place on Tuesday, October 6th, at 8 p.m. Eastern Time. The venue for the event is Assembly Studios, located in Atlanta.
A key feature of the town hall will be the participation of undecided voters, who are expected to pose questions directly to the candidates. This format aims to provide insights into the candidates’ stances on issues pertinent to a segment of the electorate.
Viewers will have multiple options to watch the debate. It will be broadcast on television via Channel 46. Additionally, the event will be available for streaming through the Atlanta News First application, the organization’s official website, and their YouTube channel.
The debate will also be accessible to a wider audience across the state, as it will be aired on Gray Media stations throughout Georgia.
