LITTLETON, CO, UNITED STATES, September 14, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Matlin Injury Law is accepting applications for its $5,000 Second Chance Scholarship, an annual award for accredited college and graduate students whose academic paths were reshaped by a traumatic car accident. The firm is accepting submissions now through October 31, 2026, and will award the funds directly to the recipient’s school. The application is open to students nationwide, regardless of where the qualifying accident occurred or where the applicant currently attends school.

The scholarship recognizes students who turned a personal setback into academic progress. To qualify, applicants must be enrolled at an accredited college, university, or graduate school, maintain good academic standing, and be a U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work or attend school in the United States. Each applicant submits a one- to two-minute video describing how a traumatic car accident influenced their life and shaped their plans for the future, along with a completed application form.
