NEW YORK, Sept. 10, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Veho today announced its recognition on Fast Company’s eighth annual Best Workplaces for Innovators list, recognizing businesses that are creating cultures where innovation can thrive at every level. Veho earned a spot for building a culture where every employee is empowered to innovate, with AI tools, training, and support to become builders, solve problems, and move from idea to solution faster.

The 2026 Best Workplaces for Innovators list recognizes 100 companies across industries such as entertainment, biotech, consumer packaged goods, marketing, education, and healthcare. To be considered, applicants detailed their investment in innovation, internal programs, and company culture. Fast Company‘s editors evaluated each application and conducted extensive research to develop a score for each company. A distinguished panel of judges then reviewed the top-rated companies to determine the final honorees.

“AI has changed who gets to build at Veho. When you give the people closest to a problem the tools to solve it themselves, you create more ownership and dramatically increase the speed at which teams can act. That means faster execution and better outcomes for our clients, consumers, and teams,” said Fred Cook, President and Co-Founder of Veho.

Veho’s recognition reflects an intentional investment in making innovation part of how the company operates. What began with early AI adopters has grown into company-wide access to AI tools, training, peer mentorship, and platforms that give employees the ability to build and ship solutions themselves.

That shift is already changing how work gets done. Through Veho Build, the company’s internal AI-powered development platform, employees created more than 200 applications in its first three days, primarily built by teams outside of engineering to solve real problems they encounter in their day-to-day work. Veho is also publishing stories from its builders, highlighting how employees across the company are using AI to move faster, improve how teams operate, and turn ideas into working solutions.

Programs like Hack the Gap, which puts engineers alongside customers and operators to experience product friction firsthand, and Disrupt, Veho’s internal hackathon where engineers experiment with moonshots, reinforce that culture by creating more opportunities for employees to spot opportunities, build, and experiment.

“I’ve sat in enough meetings where great ideas got shelved due to roadmap constraints or got lost in translation. AI has fundamentally changed that. Veho Build gives people across the company the ability to turn ideas borne from their experience every day into solutions themselves, without waiting for engineering capacity. We didn’t just build a new tool; we built a new way of operating,” said Azeem Ahmed, SVP of Engineering.

“The most innovative workplaces don’t simply ask their employees to come up with great ideas; they create the conditions that make great ideas possible,” says Brendan Vaughan, editor-in-chief of Fast Company. “This year’s honorees understand that innovation is ultimately a cultural commitment that requires empowering people to think differently, take risks, and turn ideas into actions. We’re proud to recognize the companies and executives who are leading by example.”
