Appointment expands Beckfield College’s participation in career education leadership and workforce-focused initiatives across Kentucky
FLORENCE, KY, UNITED STATES, September 9, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — FLORENCE, Ky., Sept. 9, 2026 — Beckfield College is proud to announce that Dr. Diana Lawrence, President of Beckfield College, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Kentucky Association of Career Colleges and Schools (KACCS), effective Sept. 1, 2026.
KACCS supports career-focused postsecondary institutions throughout Kentucky by promoting collaboration, professional development, advocacy and engagement on legislative, regulatory and higher education issues affecting career schools and their students.
As a member of the Board of Directors, Dr. Lawrence will collaborate with fellow education leaders to support initiatives that expand educational opportunities, promote innovation in career education and respond to the evolving workforce needs of Kentucky employers and communities.

With almost 40 years of experience in higher education, Dr. Lawrence has demonstrated expertise in academic and administrative leadership, strategic planning, student achievement, institutional development, and teaching. As President of Beckfield College, she provides visionary leadership to an institution committed to delivering career-oriented education and equipping students with the knowledge and skills needed for success in nursing, allied health, and other professional disciplines.
Her appointment to the KACCS Board reflects a continued commitment to strengthening career education, supporting student achievement and contributing to broader conversations surrounding workforce preparation and postsecondary education throughout the Commonwealth.
