NEWARK, NJ / ACCESS Newswire / September 1, 2026 / Derek Smith Law Group, PLLC, an employment litigation firm, today announced the filing of a civil lawsuit in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Essex County. Johnmack Cohen, Esq., of Derek Smith Law Group is designated trial counsel for the plaintiffs, who have demanded a trial by jury.
The lawsuit (Docket No. ESX-L-005553-26) was filed on behalf of three plaintiffs, Zuleyma Ballesteros, Kimberly Serna-Gonzalez, and Brenda Romo Duarte, and names Gustavo Lorenzo-Borges, individually, along with Supremo Foods Markets Incorporated, Supremo Foods, LLC, Supremo Foodmarkets, LLC, and Elizabeth Foods, LLC. The matter is a pending civil action brought under the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination.
