ANAHEIM, CA, UNITED STATES, August 30, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Science fiction’s brightest stars were celebrated Sunday evening at the 84th World Science Fiction Convention, LAcon V 2026, where the winners of the 2026 Hugo Awards, Lodestar Award, and Astounding Award were announced. The formal ceremony held Sunday, August 30, in the Anaheim Convention Center Arena, honored outstanding achievements in the genre across various categories, from novels and dramatic presentations to new writers and artists.
