With more than 10,000 spinal surgeries, Dr. Stefano M. Sinicropi brings a multidisciplinary perspective to Genesis Regenerative’s Clinical Advisory Board.
EDINA, MN, UNITED STATES, August 19, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Genesis Regenerative has appointed Dr. Stefano M. Sinicropi to its Clinical Advisory Board. A board-certified orthopedic spine surgeon, Dr. Sinicropi is President and CEO of Midwest Spine & Brain Institute and the founder of HyperCharge Health in Edina, Minnesota. A new episode of his podcast, Wellness at the Speed of Light, featuring Genesis Regenerative Medical Director Prof. Dr. Bankole A. Johnson, was released Monday, August 17. Here’s the link: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/we-built-cathedrals-of-illness-stem-cells-peptides/id1730660415?i=1000783849137
Dr. Sinicropi brings experience from both sides of the operative decision: he operates and also runs a clinic focused on patients for whom an operation may not be the only answer. Dr.Johnson has long held that regenerative medicine is widely misread as a single decisive act, a mistake he attributes to practitioners looking for a shortcut. “They want something in a syringe, and they want to push that syringe, and then there’s a magical cure,”2 he says. The work, as he defines it, is incremental and closely supervised: “You have to not only be aware of dose, you have to be aware of sequence, you have to make sure that you understand the response of the patient.”2
Fostering peer-to-peer clinical discussion and the exchange of real-world experience is an important role of the Clinical Advisory Board, and Dr. Sinicropi’s combination of surgical and integrative experience adds another valuable perspective to these conversations.
Dr. Johnson has called him “a phenomenal doctor” and singled out his procedural command, describing him as “a superb spinal surgeon.”2 The two physicians had consulted informally on difficult cases before any appointment existed, and the board seat creates a more formal opportunity for that exchange of clinical experience to contribute to discussions within the Genesis physician community.
That background was built over two decades. Dr. Sinicropi attended Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, completed his residency at Columbia University’s Presbyterian Hospital, and sub-specialized through the Kenton D. Leatherman Spine Fellowship at the University of Louisville. He joined Midwest Spine & Brain Institute in 2006, was named President and CEO in 2012, and has since expanded the group to three orthopedic spine surgeons and six neurosurgeons.
The same test governs what he is willing to put in front of a patient. He calls colleagues about unusual presentations rather than proceeding on assumption, and holds that anything outside conventional care belongs with a clinician who “understands systems biology, physiology, pharmacology.” “I don’t want to have people doing things if it’s not of value to them,” he says. 1.
That conviction led him to found HyperCharge Health alongside his surgical practice, an integrative clinic designed to allow clinicians to look beyond the presenting complaint and consider the full patient picture. The clinic offers non-surgical modalities including NanoVi, pulsed electromagnetic field technology, exercise with oxygen, and transcranial photobiomodulation, and its clinical team spans interventional pain management, neuropsychiatry, nursing, and exercise physiology. As he puts it: “It wasn’t until I went on the integrative health side that I sat there for an hour, an hour and a half, two hours with patients that I could really do what I love doing.”1. His appointment further expands the range of specialties and clinical perspectives represented on the Genesis Clinical Advisory Board, supporting the company’s broader commitment to peer-to-peer exchange, the sharing of clinical experience, and responsible discussion around RPA.
