Security milestone strengthens StorageChain’s permission-aware enterprise AI platform as new integrations expand indexing across Google and Slack.
LOS ANGELES, CA, UNITED STATES, August 18, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — StorageChain LLC, an enterprise AI and cloud technology company, today announced that StorageChain has completed an independent App Defense Alliance Cloud Application Security Assessment (CASA) to bolster the security foundation of StorageChain AI Connect. The company also added native indexing for Google Drive, Google Cloud Storage and Slack, expanding the platform’s ability to securely discover and use authorized information across cloud repositories and collaboration data through a unified, permission-aware AI connectivity layer.
The security assessment was performed by TAC Security, an independent third-party laboratory authorized by the App Defense Alliance. The assessment verified that the application met ADA-CASA Assurance Level 1 requirements. CASA is based on the industry-recognized OWASP Application Security Verification Standard and evaluates controls across authentication, session management, access control, communications, data validation and application configuration. Together with Google’s OAuth application verification, the completed assessment gives customers additional independent validation of the controls supporting StorageChain AI Connect.
For organizations connecting sensitive business information to AI, the security of the connection layer is as important as the intelligence of the model. StorageChain AI Connect is designed to sit between enterprise systems and the AI tools employees choose to use. Completing the assessment helps demonstrate StorageChain’s focus on secure authorization, protected communications, access control and responsible handling of enterprise information as the platform expands.
The addition of Slack indexing extends StorageChain AI Connect beyond file repositories into business conversations, shared files, channel knowledge and collaboration history. Slack reports that more than 200,000 organizations use its platform, while industry estimates place its monthly active audience above 50 million users worldwide. StorageChain AI Connect makes authorized Slack content discoverable alongside information in Google Drive, Google Cloud Storage and other connected enterprise systems.
Google Drive and Google Cloud Storage indexing broaden the platform’s reach across both individual business files and large-scale cloud object repositories. Authorized users can surface relevant documents and cloud-hosted content through natural-language queries without manually searching each system. When combined with Slack indexing, AI Connect can bring together formal records and the conversations that provide their business context, helping teams find more complete answers.
StorageChain AI Connect now supports Microsoft SharePoint, OneDrive, Azure Blob Storage, Google Drive, Google Cloud Storage, Amazon S3, Dropbox and Slack. The platform indexes information where it already resides and preserves existing folder-level permissions, user access rights and governance structures. Organizations can connect authorized knowledge to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot and other AI interfaces without migrating source files or rebuilding access controls. This approach reduces duplication, avoids creating another isolated repository and allows companies to retain control over their original information.
“Enterprise knowledge does not live in one system. It is distributed across cloud storage, shared drives and collaboration platforms such as Slack,” said Chris Dominguez, Chief Executive Officer of StorageChain. “By adding Google Drive, Google Cloud Storage and Slack indexing following our independent security assessment, we are strengthening both the reach and the security foundation of StorageChain AI Connect. Organizations gain a practical way to make their knowledge available to AI while preserving control over who can access it.”
StorageChain AI Connect combines semantic search, vector retrieval, metadata extraction, natural-language understanding and intelligent indexing. Employees can locate contracts, financial documents, compliance records, customer agreements, project information and relevant Slack conversations through a single permission-aware experience. AI retrieves only the information each authorized user is permitted to access, helping companies improve discovery and employee productivity without abandoning established governance.
The model-neutral architecture also gives enterprises flexibility as the AI market evolves. Rather than locking organizational knowledge into one AI provider, StorageChain AI Connect can support multiple AI assistants, enterprise applications and future agent-based workflows.
