WASHINGTON, D.C., DC, UNITED STATES, September 21, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — The Space Frontier Foundation will bring together energy industry leaders for a dedicated Space Solar Power Symposium at Experience POWER 2026, on the morning of September 30 in Washington, D.C, at the Omni Shoreham Hotel.
Space solar power has moved from a decades-old concept toward a credible new option for dependable, dispatchable, and scalable clean energy. Advances in commercial space capabilities, wireless power transmission, and dramatically lower launch costs are bringing space solar power closer to reality at the same time that utilities and data centers face rapidly growing demand for reliable clean electricity.
The symposium will move the conversation beyond the space community.
The Space Solar Power Symposium will join the companies developing space solar power with the utility leaders, grid planners, policymakers, investors, government agencies, and energy companies who may ultimately buy, finance, regulate, and deploy it.

The half-day symposium will feature the industry’s foremost experts who will engage with the energy leaders in the audience to explore the practical questions that will determine Space Solar Power’s commercial future, including economics, grid integration, technology readiness, policy, investment, and pathways to deployment.
This is also part of a larger mission for the Space Frontier Foundation. Developing an energy industry presence in space could create sustained commercial demand for launch, manufacturing, infrastructure, and operations beyond Earth while delivering a tangible benefit to people on Earth.
