NYC Big Book Award Celebrates 10th Anniversary with Announcement of 2026 Winners

Over the past decade, the NYC Big Book Award has established itself as a premier global awards program and celebratory event. Notable past winners include:

The NYC Big Book Award regularly attracts a diverse group of creators—ranging from independent writers to the Big Five publishing houses.

This year’s competition drew international entries from established authors, first-time indie writers, and large publishing houses. Entrants included entrepreneurs, film and television writers, historians, and journalists.

Submissions spanned the globe, with participating authors hailing from Australia, Canada, China, France, Ghana, Greece, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, Sweden, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Key cities represented included Auckland, Dallas, Frankfurt, Hollywood, Johannesburg, New York City, Philadelphia, Sydney, and West Palm Beach.

Participating publishers included Beacon Press, Berrett-Koehler, Casemate, Edinburgh University Press, ForbesBooks, Kiplinger Books, NYU Press, Palgrave Macmillan, Penguin Random House, Rizzoli, Routledge, University of California Press, and Wiley.
