Atlanta, GA, October 7, 2026 —

Undecided voters in Georgia expressed mixed reactions following a town hall debate held in Doraville, Atlanta, which featured Republican gubernatorial candidate Rick Jackson and Democratic candidate Keisha Lance Bottoms.

The event, designed to allow undecided voters to hear directly from the candidates seeking the state’s highest office, concluded with attendees offering varied feedback on the clarity and substance of the discussions. Some voters reported that the debate provided them with the insights they needed to make a decision in the upcoming election.

However, a portion of the undecided electorate remained unsatisfied, citing a lack of specific answers from both Rick Jackson and Keisha Lance Bottoms on key issues. These voters indicated that their choices for who to support remain pending, suggesting the town hall did not fully resolve their uncertainties.

The specific topics addressed during the debate and the details of the candidates’ responses were not immediately available. Similarly, the exact number of undecided voters in attendance and their demographic details were not provided. The outcome of the debate, in terms of swaying a significant number of undecided voters, is yet to be determined.

The candidates, Rick Jackson and Keisha Lance Bottoms, engaged in discussions aimed at appealing to voters who have not yet committed to a party or candidate. The effectiveness of their presentations in converting undecided voters into committed supporters will likely become clearer as the election draws nearer.
